East Tennessee Pharmacy Services had the honor of hosting U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett for a pharmacy tour in Knoxville. We were thrilled to spread awareness about long-term care pharmacy and our role in caring for America’s seniors. Our industry has been significantly impacted with unexpected costs that have brought about a need for support through the Department of Health and Human Services. We had the opportunity to share with him how COVID-19 has impacted not only our industry, but our partnering communities, including more than 10,000 residents, that our pharmacies service across the state of Tennessee. We are very grateful for Congressman Burchett’s support of the long-term care industry!
